Lafayette Police Investigate Shooting 
At about 7:30pm on 10/13/19, Lafayette Police received multiple 911 calls reporting shots fired in the 1000 block of Hartford St.  Reginald Lewis (age 45) sustained multiple gunshot wounds. 
Preliminary investigation revealed that Lewis was standing with a group of males, when a member of that group began shooting.  Information indicates that Lewis was acquainted with the male and was targeted by the suspect.  The suspect is described as a black male. 
Lewis was transported by ambulance to IU Arnett Hospital, then flown to IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he is in Critical Condition.
